Friday Funday: A Friendly Flowchart

When it comes to shopping, having a good friend by your side can be a mixed bag.  On the one hand, it's wonderful to have a second opinion on the items you're considering.  On the other hand, you may risk judgy looks---however involuntary---as you contemplate purchasing your fifth short-sleeve orange shirt, which you SWORE you wouldn't buy anymore but THIS ONE is DIFFERENT.

Even if you have the saintliest, most perfect shopping companion, you may still one day have to face the fact that this friend is not at your beck and call 24/7.  She may not be awake to encourage you to submit that order at 3am when you're browsing sample sale websites instead of studying for the bar exam.

Yes, it's time we accept that people are fallible.  But you know what's INfallible?

A flowchart!  A flowchart of enabling!  Just TRY keeping your cash unspent with this baby at your side!  Feel free to print it out and keep it in your wallet or near the computer where you do most of your online shopping.   I feel confident that you (or your credit card companies---one or the other) will be thrilled with the results.
